M1 Bank is proud to have supported the For His Glory Tanzania trip this past August.
Through the For His Glory organization, we were able to help launch a disciple-making Gospel movement in Mpanda, Tanzania. Through these trips, we have seen over 85,000 people coming to Christ every month.
For His Glory Disciple Model
For His Glory’s discipleship model includes three key ingredients. When combined in the local churches, this model produces a movement that brings forth the Kingdom of God. We see this in the hearts and lives of the people, transforming their city, region and nation for Christ. These 3 ingredients are the T4T model, empowerment and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and belief in Christ’s Name.
The combining of these components becomes most effective following the 5-day festival. During this time the collective unity and faith of the church community is realized. We saw this begin to happen while on mission in Mpanda, Tanzania. Local church leaders experienced the Gospel of the Kingdom drawing people to Christ and setting them free from bondage. During the festival they gained the faith and confidence to apply the principles that they have been learning from the For His Glory trainers, and a movement is beginning to take off in their city!
About For His Glory
In 2001, when Rob Welch surrendered to God’s call on his life, he left the business world, sold his home and enrolled in a master’s program at Wheaton College. On completion of his studies, he received his Master’s Degree in Missions and in 2004 was ordained as an evangelist. For the next three years, Rob served as Evangelist-in-Residence at the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College. In 2006 Rob followed God’s leading and established For His Glory.
