M1 Bank was thrilled to be a sponsor at the Central Christian School One Run. Central Christian school held the event on October 29th 2022. The event was at Enterprise Holdings Pavilion. Participants walked and ran in support of scholarship opportunities.
Central Christian School
Central Christian School is a Gospel-driven, academically excellent learning community. They prepare children for life by instilling a passion for faith. At CCS they believe in a love of truth, and a zeal to serve. At this time, there are 210 students from 140 families enrolled at CCS. In addition, the school serves families from 45 different zip codes and 75 different churches.
At Central Christian School students have access to over 18,000 books housed in their school library. Additionally, students have access to the best in educational technology and tools. At this time, 21% of students at CCS are in need of tuition assistance. Despite all the needs the school is filling, the average class size is 13 students.
Their Beginnings
Central Christian School began as an early childhood program in 1957. After seeing the academic value in the education their children were receiving, parents asked the school to expand its offerings. In the 1960’s the CCS established the current program, for students aged 3-13. Ten years later, the school expanded yet again to accomodate a growing student body. In 2009 an additional building next to the main building was added to house the 5th and 6th Grade program.
